Founded in 2004, IAG Performance started with a simple mission: source and sell quality used Subaru WRX and STI components. In the first 18 months alone, the company moved over 200 used Subaru engines.
By 2007, IAG had expanded far beyond used parts, establishing itself as a full-service Subaru performance shop offering custom parts and professional engine assembly services.
Today, IAG operates from a 2.6-acre original facility in Westminster, MD, with an additional 115,000 square foot warehouse added in 2018. Their engine builders have assembled over 14,000 Subaru engines.
IAG has become the recognized leader in the Subaru performance industry, known for precision engineering, quality components, and uncompromising standards — the only choice for a championship racing program.
The IAG 2.35L Destroked EJ257 closed deck engine represents the pinnacle of Subaru performance engineering. This custom-built powerhouse delivers championship-level performance across two GRIDLIFE title runs.
Capable of 1,000+ WHP, the engine is conservatively tuned at 602 WHP for reliability, and cranked to 770 WHP on E85 when championships are on the line.
